Halloween is less than a week away! How did that happen? It’s getting a little too late to decorate for Halloween, but there is still time to do some fun crafts with your kids! I have been waiting to do this with my kids for awhile now. I knew it was going to be a hit because you can’t go wrong with paint :).
This is how we made them:
We took some black paint, baker’s twine, paper plates, a hole punch and a paint brush to make them.
I used the paint brush and put the paint onto their hands. I didn’t put paint on the thumb.
They put their hands down on the plate. The second hand, we made sure to match up the palm.
We added a little glitter to the spiders. They blew the glitter onto the wet paint.
We glued some eyes onto the spider and then with the hole punch punched 12 holes around the plate.
Using 5 yards of baker’s twine, the kids weaved the twine around to make a spider web over the spider. With my younger kids, I had them hold the twine and then I walked backwards holding the plate to get the twine through. It seemed to work well and the kids had fun with it.
And that’s it! Super easy and fun!
I would love it if you followed along.
