My kids are picky eaters. I have one son who will only eat one kind of meat, chicken (well he eats pork but we tell him that it’s chicken). So to find a recipe that everyone will eat, is sometimes hard. This one is nice because everyone can put on their own toppings and have it the way that they like it!
This is what you’ll need:
For the gravy:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 can of milk
Cooked chicken ( you can even used canned chicken)
For the toppings:
This is what we had-
Olives, chow mein noodles, green onions, pineapple, cheese, and tomatoes.
This are some other ideas for toppings:
Cranberries, raisins, almonds, coconut, avocado.
Heat the soup and milk together and then add the chicken until nice and warm. Serve over rice and add as many or as little toppings as you would like.
This has alwasy been one of our favorites. When I worked at the Institute of Religion at Purdue we would occassionaly have Elder L Tom Perry come to visit because his son was a grad student there – when he would come we would have Super Lunch where we would serve lunch and he would speak to the students – this was one of his favorite recipes too.
We use tomatoes, celery, green onions, pineapple, coconut, chow mein noodles, cheese and a cherry on top.

I love your blog! I just wanted to let you know when I just tried to come to your blog a big warning came up saying I was going to a malicious site and my computer kept asking me if I was sure I wanted to come to this page. So weird! Obviously I knew it was safe but I just wanted to tell you. I don't know if anyone else has had the same problems.
I love your blog. Your projects are fun. We make this recipe sometimes and it is yummy. I never heard of it until I moved to Utah. My in-laws were so excited to serve it to me thinking they made an authentic Hawaiian dish. As a native Hawaiian, I do have to say that this is definitely not a Hawaiian dish (a common and often joked about phenomenon–it's got pineapple, let's call it Hawaiian.) In my Hawaiian family we call this dish Chicken Sundaes. Call it what you want, just know there is nothing Hawaiian about it 🙂
