Heart Shirt

October 1, 2011 by Kaysi 3 Comments

My son has a friend that had to get heart surgery over the summer. She was very anxious about this operation (who would blame her, I would be too). I just felt like I needed to make her something for when she went to get the operation. So I came up with this idea. Can you tell I was going for a heart theme? 🙂 It was really easy to make. I just whipped out my Silhouette and my heat transfer paper and cut out the letters. Then using elastic thread, I made a little ruffly heart at the bottom of the shirt.

Very good gesture of care. She'll feel comfortable.
