When I bought my kitchen aid I didn’t have the option of getting one of the pretty colored ones (I really badly wanted one…). I went with the plain white one because I knew that I could do something to it. So I did just that, I don’t think that it’s plain anymore, do you? 🙂
Here it is before, so white and plain. I like simple things, but I don’t care for plain…
Before I cut out the vinyl, I carefully planned the size and color of each word. I actually ended up adding a few more words at the end. Here is the list of fonts that I use:

Once I got all of the colors and sizes figured out, I cut them out of vinyl using my Silhouette.
I used transfer paper and starting putting them onto the kitchen aid. It was a little tricky with the curves, so you just have to go slow.
I continued putting the vinyl onto the base of it too.
And that’s it!! I love how it turned out!
If you want to know how I made the bowl cover, check out the tutorial here.
I would love it if you followed along.
That's adorable!
I am in the EXACT same boat. My KA is 15 years old.. back when they only came in white, and I just got a brand new Cameo, and have been dying to spiff her up.
I am curious how it wipes down once the vinyl is on it. My mixer gets pretty gross (especially when the kids are 'helping' me bake) so I don't want crud to get stuck in the decals. Have you had any trouble?
I love your design by the way. Super cute!
I love the vinyl decals. Looks great. Just wondering where you got that splash guard cover thingy? what is it called?

This may be a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway.
How did you get the letters colored?
Diana it is different colored vinyl
Would you consider making and selling me a set? Just like you have yours-same colors, size, & fonts? I cant find anything like this anywhere. I was wanting it for my daughter for a Christmas gift. You can email me at
