Menu Monday

March 19, 2012 by Kaysi 7 Comments

Lately I haven’t been planning a weekly menu for my family and come dinner time it gets crazy we just end up eating out or having chicken nuggets.  I need to start doing better, so I thought if I posted about it that would at least make me think about it and do it!  So here is our menu for this week
Monday: German pancake and sausage patties
Tuesday: Manicotti
Wednesday: Teriyaki Chicken
Thursday: Spaghetti
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Hamburgers and hot dogs
Sunday: Cola Roast
What’s on your menu for dinner this week?

I don't know it yet for the whole week. But I still have some leftovers from the weekend : I made this : http://mooisvanme.blogspot.com/2011/01/witloof-in-de-oven-maar-dan-anders.html and I also have some beans left for tomorrow.
But it is also possible that i eat out tommorow for lunch because I have a meeting in brussels and then I keep the beans for wednessday and eat some soup tomorrow evening.
I only have to cook for myself, I'm single 😉

    Hi, Kaysi!!!
I always cook the same stuff… so that's a great idea, I should make a menu also! Tonight it will be steaks, rice and aspargus, which was y plan for Sunday's dinner but I was so tired from painting (LOL) that we ordered butter chicken in! Tomorrow it will be something with ground beef, since I already bought it. Maybe spaghetti with meatballs! We are a family of three and my husband and son take lunches, so it is nice to have something extra, like steaks left over I cut in thin strips and make a steak sandwich in a bun.
Check out my quesadillas, super easy and great for lunches, too!

Sounds good. I'll be there Tue,Thu and Fri. Really tonight is pizza night, tomorrow is happy meal night (my sister in law collects the toys). Don't know about the rest of the week. It's usually what I take out of the freezer in the morning.

Let's see, grilled chicken over salad tonight, veggie lasagna another night (thanks, Stouffer's), grilled teriyaki chicken, chicken nuggets, meatloaf, Hearty Western Casserole, and creamy garlic pasta. That last one's a new recipe I'm trying out. 🙂 And I mixed up some bread dough for the week, so fresh bread will be a nice accompaniment!
