Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Homemade Valentines with Free Printable

My little girl loves Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, so I decided that she needs to give out Mickey and Minnie valentines this year.  I had so much fun making these.  I love these candy pouches and they look so great as Mickey and Minnie. Plus they are soooo easy to make.  They are a huge hit whenever I make them and I’m sure these will be great too!

This is how I made them:

I cut out the Mickey and Minnie shapes out with my Silhouette.  For each valentine, you cut out two pieces, one that is a full shape and one that has a circle in the middle. I also cut out a little bow for Minnie. I also used some sandwich bags, brown candies and some glue gun.  The shapes are about 6 inches wide and 5 inches long.  You can get the cut file here:

I put the sandwich bag onto the card stock, gluing down the edges with the glue gun.

I then filled the bag with the candy.  Don’t put into too many.  I then put the hot glue directly onto the bag.  The glue melts the bag so the two pieces of card stock will stick together.

I then placed the top card stock onto the bag and then trimmed the bag with scissors.  And then I added the cute little bow for Minnie.

And that’s it!  Super easy and oh so fun and cute!
