My Master Suite Reveal!

March 7, 2013 by Kaysi 28 Comments

After I finished up my living room, I decided that I wanted to work on the master bedroom.  I spend a lot of time in here, especially when I’m not feeling very well.  So I wanted to like how it looked rather than hate it (like I did before).  I loved the colors of my craft room so much I decided to put them in here.  I used the same hazy stratus paint on the walls and the same key lime, aqua and granite spray paints.  I love how it looks and I love the color of it!
Without further ado, here is my master suite!
Here is what it looks like when you walk in.

This is my most common view, watching tv Smile

And the view to the bathroom.

My bed.  I love the white comforter, even though I have to bleach it weekly because they kids make it a mess.  I had fun making some pillows for it too.  I got this frame over a year ago and I still love it!

I had fun decorating this little shelf.  You might recognize it, I built it with a team from EVO.  They were going to throw it away so I decided to take it home and paint it lime.

I made some big and little tissue paper pom poms that I hung over the tv.

I really enjoyed making the décor balls, it was fun to come up with different textures and styles!

Using some old frames that I had, I put some vinyl on the glass that I cut out with my Cricut (cartridge simply sweet) and put our initials onto the wall.  I love having the old/new pictures of us on the wall too!

And now for the master bathroom.  I painted it the same gray.

I was going to make a shower curtain but I loved this one so much more!

I decorated some canvases to for some added color.

I continued with the aqua and lime color through out.

And that is my master suite!
I would love it if you followed along.

Nice colors and I love the simplicity of the design. Why is it every women I know has to have more than 2-4 pillows on a bed? It just don't make sense. You take them all off at night and then throw them back on the in morning when no one is there to see them.

Hope to see some tutorials (like the decor balls) or individual posts of these – though I'm sure I could figure them out. It's just easier to pin each different post or people will think I'm crazy for pinning several pics from the same post just so I remember =)
Love the monogram frames, the decor balls, the vinyl glass, and the canvas the most.

Did you make the three decorations that say live well, laugh often and love much?? I LOVE those!!! I love the way the decor looks together. I'm not sure I'm brave enough to go that bright but I do love how you did it. I'd love to spend all my time in there too.

Nice ~ I love the colors, especially the gray and white. I had to laugh at the comment about bleaching the comforter weekly due to kids; I have dogs and white so I hear that! Did you have a post on how to make those balls?
I found you today from Sugar Bee's Linky. I hope you can stop by my blog and leave a comment, too!
