Quick and Easy Curls with #ConairCurl Secret

I have 5 kids.  I spend most of my time taking care of them.  When I get ready in the morning I’m lucky if I have time to shower.  And a lot of the time those showers are with two kids, so when I get out I have to get them ready too and I don’t have time to really do much with my hair.  I LOVE to curl my hair.  But I don’t have the time to curl it very often. Then I found out about the #ConairCurl Secret and it’s perfect for us busy moms!

When I curled my hair with a curling iron, it would take at least 45 minutes to do it all depending on how small I made the curls.  I rarely did it because I just don’t have that much time to do my hair (unless I want to wake up at 6:00 am, and that’s not going to happen).  I was able to do the tight curls in less than 25 minutes. It takes less time for the looser curls. It was so much faster and the curls were so much more uniformed and looked so much better.

This is what my hair looks like when I just blow dry it.  This is my go to style, because that’s all the time I have sometimes.  But it’s not my favorite style, I have so much more body when it’s curly.  Just don’t have the time because I’m too busy.  And this is how it looked after I curled it with the Conair Curl Secret.

One of my favorite features about the Curl Secret is that there are different settings, you can get tight curls when you use high heat for 12 seconds.  Or you can get more beach waves curls when you use the low heat for 8 seconds.

Here is a quick video I made to show what it does.  You have to make sure that your hair is brushed and smooth before you start.  You take a 1/2″ to 1 inch section and you just put your hair in the curl secret (making sure the button side is facing towards your head), squeeze and your hair will go into it.  Then you wait until the timer beeps, let go and you have a perfect curl.  It’s so cool! 
I absolutely loved how my hair turned out.  I know that I am going to be using this all the time.  My curls lasted all day too!

I think one of my favorite thing was how the curls all look uniformed. I never got that look with a curling iron. It’s nice that the curls start at the top of my head instead of starting in the middle.  Another great feature is that you can’t burn yourself, so I was able to try it out my little girls’ hair without worrying about her getting burned.  I haven’t used the wands because of the fact that you can easily get burned with them.  They scare me.

Here is my hair that I did this morning.  It only took 10 minutes to do.  I used the high setting for only 8 seconds instead of 12.  And I didn’t do every single piece of hair.  I didn’t do anything special with my hair either.  I had taken a shower the night before and went to bed with wet hair, woke up and brushed it and then curled it and it still turned out!

  4. Kaysi, you look gorgeous! I wonder if it would actually work for me. My hair is stick straight and hates to hold a curl. I always want mine to look just like yours does in those photos but like you said, the curling iron doesn't get it to start at the top of my head. Sigh. Maybe this should go on my Christmas list. I wish I could "test drive" one…lol.
