Rose Trim Necklace

August 29, 2013 by Kaysi Leave a Comment

Green is my favorite color.  I love it!  I especially love bright greens.  One day I realized that I didn’t have a green necklace.  Since I had a baby recently, my clothes aren’t fitting great still.  So fun and bright necklaces are what help me to dress up and feel a little bit better about my unflattering outfits.  This necklace was so easy to make, it only took about 5 minutes.

This is how I made it:
I took an old necklace, felt and some rose trim that I got at a craft store.

I cut the rose trim and cut the mesh around the edges.  Then I glued it onto the necklace.

I then put the felt on top of it.  I put a couple little pleats into the felt so the necklace would have more of an U shape.

And that’s it!  I told you it was easy and quick.

Here is a picture of it on, so you can get an idea of how it looks.  This picture was taken on a roller coaster, we were in the front seat on a coaster with a 500 foot drop!

I would love it if you followed along.
