When my four year old was in preschool, he’s teacher told me that he wouldn’t trace his letters. So I tried to work with him and he didn’t want to trace them with me either. Soon, I learned that he loved to write on a dry erase board, so I came up with this idea so he could trace him letters.
This is how I made it:
1) I first cut out all 26 letters with my Silhouette. I mirrored all the letter hortizontally. I then cut the letter out of my powder blue Expressions vinyl.
2) I then rubbed all of the letter onto the inside of the glass of a frame.
3) I did that for all 26 letters.
4) I then put a white piece of paper in the back of the frame.
And then I let my boy trace and erase his letter over and over again.
One thing I would do is use a thick glass or plastic. I used a dollar store frame and he cracked the glass immediately, so I had to get something more durable.
