Lately I have been trying to come up with meals that are really easy and quick and are made from ingredients that I usually have on hand. This orange chicken is awesome and it was so easy to make. It took about 20 minutes to make, start to finish! The kids enjoyed it too!
This is what you’ll need:
1 can of mandarin oranges, undrained (big or little can)
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2-3/4 cup sugar
2 TBSP soy sauce
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
4 TBSP ketchup
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Frozen Popcorn chicken
1) Bake the popcorn chicken in the oven according to their directions
2) Add all the ingredients except seeds and onions into sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. I used a whisk to mash up the oranges. Boil for 3-4 minutes.
3) Pour over popcorn chicken and add sesame seeds and green onions.
Serve over rice and enjoy!! It was soooo yummy!
Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.
