Tasty Thursday: Chewy Caramel Brownies

October 13, 2011 by Kaysi 3 Comments

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any recipes. I struggle with cooking in the summer, it’s just so hot! Plus I haven’t try anything new. I’m not in the mood to cook again, so I’m going to be doing Tasty Thursday again! Here’s a super good dessert!!
Chewy Caramel Brownies

What you will need:

1 pkg German Chocolate Cake
1 cup chopped nuts
12 ounces Chocolate chips
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2/3 cup evaporated milk, divided
14 oz Caramel Candy-squares unwrapped
1) In a large bowl, mix cake mix (dry), melted butter and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk.
2)Spread 1/2 batter into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
3)Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
4)Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top of partially baked batter.
5)Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk and drizzle over chips and nuts.
6)Pour remaining batter on top, and bake for 20 minutes at 350°. Cut when cool.
