One of my favorite things about this blog I that I get to share things with you. I get to share my ideas, crafts, recipes, thoughts and things I am passionate about. Lately I have been trying really hard to focus on helping other people and doing good. I want to be able to serve and contribute to my community and other people.
One of my blogging friends just posted about having a miscarriage when she was 18 weeks along. Miscarriage is devastating whenever it happens, but I think it gets harder the further along you get. When she delivered her baby, the hospital wrapped her little girl, Annie, in this adorable little blanket. She will always cherish that little blanket. So my friend Shirley, made a pattern and put up a tutorial on her blog on how to make these blankets.
Shirley’s due date was April 22nd, and so she is asking us to make a blanket to donate to her hospital (or your local hospital) in Annie’s name. So when other women have miscarriages they can be comforted a little. These don’t take very long to make and don’t take much fabric at all. So if you have some time, please go over to her blog and check out the tutorial.
