Sometimes we all need an easy gift idea, one is that is perfect for everyone. I thought that this would be a perfect gift, a personalized casserole dish. Everyone goes to some kind of potluck dinner and we all have had problems of getting our dishes back. So here is a way to personalize it so you don’t have that problem anymore! This is a great gift idea for Christmas or weddings!
I actually made this for my mom. She already has everything that she wants and has no more room for pictures or decorations in her house, so I thought that this would be a very practical gift for her, which makes it a great and easy gift idea!
I made it so you can read the name with the casserole is facing up, but if you want to do it so you can read the name from the bottom, then cut on the other side of the contact paper. You can make these with vinyl also, just mirror the image before cutting out the vinyl and then use transfer paper to put the vinyl onto the casserole dish.

Flipping brilliant girl!
This is really neat! Would be great to use as a gift too!
Brilliant! And what a great way to personalize an otherwise simple gift and make it something special!
How simple, yet cute! You have such great ideas. This would be a great touch to add to a wedding gift or shower gift.
I'm new, check me out 🙂

That's one of the most clever ideas I've ever seen….what a great way to ensure that you get home with your dish from the church potluck…. However…. I still might have a hard time finding mine….sad to say, but whatever I bring is usually untouched…. Cooking isn't my forte'….but it's not THAT bad.
Warm blessings,
Spencer
Wow! That is so handy and quick! Nice work:)
Thanks again for posting this. I made three tonight! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out. I can't wait to give them for Christmas! I plan to post about it on my blog (after Christmas) with a link to you!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I tried it today and it's fantastic and easy. I'm afraid I might go etch every piece of glassware in my house now. Thanks again!
Awe.some! I have a dish like this that I use a ton, especially when bringing meals to others because my name is automatically on it. 🙂 I didn't realize it was so easy to make! I can't wait to get started on mine. We will be featuring you on our blog ziggycrafts.blogspot Thanks so much for sharing!
This would be a great wedding gift! Cheap yet personal! You could make a "basket" out of it and put in the ingredients for your favorite casserole along with the recipe.
Thanks for the great idea! You could do drinking glasses too!
Brilliant! I have been thinking about trying etching glass but never saw a project that inspired me….Now I am inspired and will try this over the weekend! Thanks so much for sharing
I love this! Perfect to use for those post-baby casseroles, to prevent mommy-brain from keeping your dish for months because she can't remember whose it is!
I am loving this! If only I had a Cricut… After seeing all of these adorable projects, I'm really getting close to breaking down and buying one.
I love this idea!!! Cute, Practical, and looks fairly easy. Great Idea!!!!!
I love this, I tried it tonight for a christmas gift and it turned out great… It was my first time etching something and I was sure I was going to mess it up. I can't wait to make one for myself now. I wish I could post a picture, I found you on Pinterest and I plan on posting a picture. Any idea how I can link your blog on pinterest?
