Just like my crafts, I like to keep my cooking simple and easy. I don’t love to cook, so I only like meals that take about 30 minutes from start to finish and are super easy to make. But most of all, they taste really good! Here is one of my favorites growing up, chicken chow mein.
This what you will need:
1 pound of chicken (raw or cooked)
1/2 cup oil
3 cups of water with 3-4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 can bean sprouts (drained)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 can water chestnuts (drained)
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cups diced celery
This is how you make it:
1) Cook chicken in oil, salt and pepper to taste
2) Add water and cubes
3) Add onions and celery, cover and simmer for 10 minutes
4) Add bean sprouts, water chestnuts and soy sauce
5) Heat until done (5-10 minutes)
We like to serve it on chew mein noodles. Enjoy!
