Chicken nuggets are a staple food in our house. We always have at least one bag in our freezer. I cannot tell you how many times I will just cook chicken nuggets for dinner. They are so nice to have when we are having a crazy day and I need something quick and easy. My kids love them. One day I tried to cook them some generic chicken nuggets and to my surprise, they wouldn’t eat them. They said they didn’t like how they tasted. They have been spoiled with the good stuff Tyson and didn’t want to eat the generic kind.
I was excited to see that Tyson has two new flavors of gourmet chicken nuggets: spicy chicken nuggets and cheesy chicken nuggets. I found both of them at Walmart and was excited to try them out. I made up a yummy wrap for my husband and me and the kids got to eat the nuggets with some dips. It was a super easy dinner! Perfect for those school nights that we don’t have a ton of time.
For the wraps I made them with the Tyson spicy nuggets. Then I added: rice, black beans, cheddar cheese, guacamole, tomatoes, and ranch.
The nuggets had a nice kick to them and full of flavor. The combination of them with the other ingredients made it pretty tasty.
The kids got to have the cheesy chicken nuggets. I think it was fun for them to have a different flavor.
I made them a honey mustard to dip them in. The honey mustard was super good!
All you need is:
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/2 cup honey
a dash of Worcestershire sauce
Just mix them altogether and dip the chicken nuggets in them.
My kids enjoyed them!
They prefer the regular chicken nuggets because they don’t love a ton of flavor with chicken (this kid doesn’t even dip his nuggets in ketchup) but they liked the change up and something different. One thing that is nice about all Tyson nuggets is that you know they are using the good white meat just like they do with their regular nuggets.
If you #LoveUrNuggets you should try out these new gourmet chicken nuggets from Tyson. If you want to try them out, there will be a demo on the weekend of 11/15/13 at participating Wal-marts. And for kids who love Chuck E. Cheese, each package of the cheesy nuggets have a coupon for 130 tokens for only $25 (savings of $7.50). Plus both new chicken nuggets are part of the A+ project, so you can get extra money of your school.
I would love it if you followed along.

believe it or not , since my mother went home to be with the Lord, I have sent out my father's card. I have her address book and it is unnerving to see how the names get ticked off with not only a member of their families pass but the entire family. I keep using her book with the dates noted for passings.

Great nugget recipe idea! Yes, we keep our freezer stocked as well. A great solution for busy days to be sure.

I think my son would love the cheesy ones. And like you, we always have nuggets or tenders on hand for the boys who tend to be the pickiest eaters.
