I just wanted to remind everyone about my two giveaways I have going on, they end on Sunday!
Also, today I’m guest posting at Tatertots and Jello!!
It’s garage sale season!! I love it, my husband hates it :). About a month ago, I found this dresser for my son’s room for $5
So I painted it and added new hardware (we had them left over from our kitchen). I let my son pick out the colors. Right now red is his favorite color
I then mod podged words on there to help my organize his clothes and all
Oh how I love paint!!

LOL! "I love it, my husband hates it." CLASSIC, hahaha! Thank you for making my day with that one. Although my husband is a fan of garage sales himself, he's not always a big fan of the stuff I buy at garage sales. Forgive me if I'd rather purchase home decor than yard tools…
Great revamp, love the labels!

Came over from Tatertots to visit. Great job on the dresser. It really does look like one of those Snap-On tool chests. Perfect for a boy.

Man! I need to hit up the yard sales! Your dresser looks great and so does your chair over at Tator Tots! Great job! You make me want to go out and refinish something – I am telling my hubby I blame it all on you! hahaha!

Rory from Tools Are For Women Too!
Fabulous job! The new handles really changed the whole look, in addition to the red. I agree that it does look like a manly tool box for the little guy. Leave it to me, a guy, to spot that. I'm just a guy who never thought he would have a pink hardhat on his blog and teach women about tools! HA!

Hands to Work, Hearts to God
That is a GREAT project! Am thinking of painting a shelf in my craft room right now so this is just the inspiration I need! I also sympathize with the keeping it simple idea! Some of the scrapbook LOs around take a LOT of time and money! Patsy from

That is a fabulous redo. I love the two colors of paint. I wouldn't have thought of that it adds a lot of personality to the dresser.
