Slow Cooker Apricot Pork Chops

July 10, 2013 by Kaysi 2 Comments

I love the crock pot!  It’s so awesome!  I’m always looking for new yummy crock pot recipes.  Here is one that I got from my friend, it’s super yummy and my kids loved it!
Apricot Pork Chops

What you need:
6 to 8 pork chops
1 cup apricot jam
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp ginger cloves
1 can mandarin oranges and juice (11 oz)
Place pork chops into crock pot.
Mix the jam, sugar and spices together and then spoon over pork chops.
Pour  mandarin oranges and juice over pork chops.
Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Appricot Pork Chops (2)
Serve over rice.
Appricot Pork Chops (4)
I would love it if you followed along.
