Angry Birds costumes

October 19, 2011 by Kaysi 4 Comments

I’m so excited for our Halloween costumes this year!! This the first time that I have sewed all of our costumes. I found this awesome tutorial from Motivate me Monday. I was so excited because they were very easy to make! I followed her tutorial for the most part. I just made straps to put them on rather than sewing the two pieces together.
Go check out Heather’s tutorial over at Dragonfly Designs. Hers are so much cuter than mine and she does a good job explaining them

My baby is going to be the little blue bird.

My oldest is going to be the big red bird. He didn’t want to be the small red bird because he doesn’t do very much in the game, the big one can knock down lots of things!

My husband is going to be the king pig

My 4 year is the bomb bird.

My 2 year old is the “grandpa” pig.

And me, I’m going as the golden egg.
I’m so excited to post pictures of all of us in them. I have a feeling that my 2 year old and baby won’t want to be in them for long, so hopefully we can get one picture of all of us in them!

alright, great minds think alike – – I just took a break from sewing mine! I have 2 done, but they're kind of snug – – I like how you have shoulder straps instead of sewing the front directly to the back, which is what I did – – glad I saw this before I finished the rest of mine!
