On February 24th Big Hero 6 came out on DVD and my family was so excited about it!  I immediately got it and planned a fun family movie night around it.  We had popcorn and enjoyed watching the movie.  After the movie the kids couldn’t stop talking about it, so I made up a fun game for the kids to play.  It was a huge hit and they had so much fun with it.  Plus it was super easy to make!

I headed to Walmart to pick up the DVD in the electronics section.  They have Big Hero 6 in a 2 disc BD + DVD=DC + WM GWP 2 pack featuring a gift with purchase digital copy or you can get it in DVD or Blu-Ray.  I also went online to Walmart.com to get some fun Big Hero 6 toys for my kids to play with.

For the bowling game, I used some food cans that I had been saving.  Yeah, I save them just for things like this.  I cleaned them and took off the labels.

I spray painted them white.  You can use regular paint too.

Then using black paint I drew on Baymax’s face.

I also wanted to do the villain Yokai’s face, so I painted them on the other side of the cans.  I first started with the red paint, then painted the yellow eyes.

And then finally I painted the black features on the face.

In the movie Baymax tries to take down Yokai so that is the point of the bowling game.

This Baymax plush I got from Walmart.com was perfect for the game.  I let the kids throw it at the cans to knock them down!

Since I didn’t think it was right to throw Baymax at himself, so I just had the kids bowl at him using a ball.  But really it doesn’t matter :).  Either way, the kids had a blast!

I had my kids try to bowl over Baymax with a ball too.  It was just so much fun!  They loved it!

Have you seen Big Hero 6 yet??  If you haven’t, then you HAVE TO!!  It’s such a great movie!

How cute that fluffy baymax is your bowling ball! We keep extra cans in our house all the time for projects just like this, too! #client
