Color Street New Packaging Gift Pouch for Teachers, Friends and Mother’s Day
Color Street recently came out with some new packaging for their Color Street nails and because the packing is now bigger, my super fun and cute gift pouches I made last year won’t work anymore. So it was time to redesign them and tweak them a little bit so they work for the Color Street new packaging. I used all of the same designs that I had for the other packaging, now they are just bigger so they fit the new packaging. These little gift pouches are perfect for anyone who loves pretty nails and toes! With Mother’s Day and teacher appreciate week coming up, these are a great way to show someone that you care and are thinking of them :). If you have no clue what Color Street is, then check out this post. And if you want to get your hands on some of these awesome nail strips that are 100% nail polish, you can buy them here.
Here is a quick video to show you how to make these super fun and cute Color Street gift pouches.
You can get the printable here. There are several different designs, including one for nurses and Christmas ones. You can just print off the page that you want.
This is how I made them:
The first thing I did was printed off the designed that I wanted. I printed them off on cardstock.
Using a paper trimmer, I then cut the pouch out. You will want to cut the sides right by the end of the design. At the top of the design you will cut as close to the borders as possible, just make sure you don’t cut off the words.
I then folded the cardstock so that it made a pouch. The bottom fold should be right where the design ends. Then I cut out the side borders. **** The sides are not the same, one is for the right side and one is for the left side. When you print out the printable, the designs will be on the bottom and the words will be upside down. The border that is on the left (when the design is on the bottom) will be the left side border. The one on the right will be the right one. If you’re confused, just watch the video and hopefully it will make more sense to you.****
I glued the side boards onto the back of the pouch and then with a 1/8″ hole punch, punched a little hole and added 2 brads to keep the pouch together.
I put the new Color Street nails into the gift pouch and that’s it, it’s done!! Aren’t they so much fun? I love how they turned out! They fit perfectly in the envelope, what a fun way to give someone the gift of Color Street! The nails that are in these pouches are: Underground Magic, Concrete Jungle, Rose All Day, Fa-La-La and Any Fin Goes, which is one of the new pedicure sets!
I love this “Mani” Thanks pouch because it’s a nice generic one that can be used for some many things. It’s great for teachers but also for the other workers at the school like the principal or office workers. It’s always great for co-workers and other people that you want to show love and gratitude towards.
These gift pouches also fit the old packaging, two sets fit perfectly in there.
If you have one of the older designs, you can print out these printables and make the smaller pouch too.
These Color Street Nails make a great gift, so make sure you get some for your friends and loved ones.
Here are the prices of the nails, take advantage of the deals because who knows how long they will last!
