The holiday season is upon us and I’m sure we are all scrambling to figure out presents for our family, friends and we can’t forget the teachers! Well I am got you covered for the women in your life, because this is a super easy gift to do and I’m sure that they will love it! Color STREET nails are 100% nail polish and super easy to apply and look amazing on (just look at my hands in the pictures, they are awesome!). Well I am going to be giving these as presents this year so I thought that I would make up a super fun pouch to put them in. I made up several different designs, including some for friends and teachers, Mother’s Day, nurses and a generic “Mani” thanks one that would work for anyone. There are also two fun Christmas designs too! To get these awesome nails, go here.
Here is a quick video to show the process of making them. They are super easy and fun to make!
***UPDATE- Color Street now has new packaging that is bigger, so they won’t fit into these pouches. I made up some new designs and you can get them here.***
This is how I made them:
I made up a printable for them. There are several designs, so just print out the ones that you want. You can get the printable here. This is what the printables look like all printed out, there are two pouches per sheet. You will want to print them out on cardstock.
First I cut the printable with a paper trimmer.
This is what they look like all cut. The borders on the bottom are for the top of the pouch. There are two different sides, so each pouch will need two strips that will look a little different. The top one is for the left side and the bottom one is for the right side.
I then folded the paper so the bottom of the design was at the base of the pouch. Then I cut out the strips with scissors.
I then glued the borders onto the back of the pouch using a glue stick.
Using a 1/8″ hole punch, I punched some holes into the sides of the pouch (this is what holds it together) and then put two brads into the holes. You can also add ribbon or string or just glue it down.
I then added the Color Street nails into the pouch. And that’s it!! They fit perfectly and look so good!! These two designs are called LA Dreams and Vegas Vixen, both a very pretty pink.
I did 8 different designs.
Here are the two Christmas designs that I did and the super cute holiday nails with them. You can add the holiday nails or just a regular design, either way these will be super cute for a Christmas present! These designs are called Christmas Twinkle, Home for the Holidays, and Secret Santa.
We can’t forget about the awesome teachers, these are perfect gifts for them! All the designs that say friend, also say teacher! These designs are Moon River and Arctic Evening.
And lastly the super fun rainbow pouch. This one is just so much fun! This would work for a birthday present or just a thinking of your kind of gift. The designs are Shangri-La and Meet Me in Paris.
**Update** Now that Mother’s Day is coming up, I made up another printable that is perfect for Mother’s day too! These ones have the new spring 2018 line in them, Wisteria Lane, Atlantis and Blue Lagoon. I LOVE these colors designs! You can get the new Mother’s Day design here. I’ve also added a nurse one and a generic “mani” thanks one, so you can give them out to anyone!
Here are all of them together.
And here is a close up of the rainbow one again! Isn’t it so much fun? And the design that I am wearing, Safair Chic, it’s a new favorite!
