Cricut and Ubooly Kids Craft {Photo Props}

July 16, 2013 by Kaysi 6 Comments

Disclosure: I was given the Ubooly and card stock to create with.  All ideas and content and 100% my own.
This summer I am focusing my crafts on my kids.  We spend the majority of our time at home, so they get bored pretty easily.  I’ve seen these photo props all over at parties and weddings.  I thought it would be a fun afternoon activity.  The kids sure enjoyed it!

I used some card stock from Cricut.  It’s 12×24 (which is awesome) and has some great colors!

Using my Cricut, I cut out several props.  The party hat was a huge hit.  Then I glued them onto popsicle sticks.

I had the kids put the props on and then let them take pictures of each other.  I of course took pictures of them too.

I even did it to my baby, he actually really liked it.

I thought it would be fun to make some little ones.  You could do this for your kids’ dolls.  I did it for our new iPhone pet, Ubooly.

Afterwards the kids played with the Ubooly.  It’s really cool.  It tells you stories, facts and gives you some activities to do.  At one point I saw my son go into our bathroom with a flashlight with it because they were going to on an adventure.  It also told him fun facts, like an elephant only sleeps for 2 or 3 hours a day because it has to eat so much.   Pretty fun!

I would love it if you followed along.
