Emoji Party Favor with Printable

May 15, 2017 by Kaysi 2 Comments

With a 12 year old in the house, we spend a lot of time talking in emojis.  It seems like it’s one way to really get through to him :).  I love how fun emojis are and all the different ones.  Since my candy pouches is one of my absolute favorite crafts that I have made, I thought it was time to do it emoji style!  These would be perfect emoji party favor for any kind of emoji birthday party!

This is how I made them:
Starting with some yellow card stock and a coluzzle I cut out two circles.  One is a solid circle and the other one is a frame.  Both of them are same size, just one has the inside cut out.
Then using a glue gun, I glued a sandwich bag onto the solid circle. Then using a permanent marker, I drew a emoji onto it.  For some of the faces I used white vinyl and drew onto the vinyl with the black marker.
I filled the bag with candy and I then glued frame piece onto the sandwich bag.  **Put the hot glue directly onto the bag to melt the plastic so the card stock will glue together.**
Then I trimmed the bag around the circle.
Here are the different faces that I made. I ended up changing up the mouth of the laughing one, I used white vinyl and drew onto it.
For the poop emoji I wanted to show you another way to do it, using my Silhouette CAMEO. You can do this for any of the emojis, I just wanted to show you different ways of doing it.
I cut out the shape out of brown card stock.
I also cut out the face with black and white vinyl.
Here are all the pieces cut out.
Using the same technique, glued the bag onto the solid shape, put on the vinyl face, filled it with chocolate covered raisins, put on the frame shape and cut around the shape.
Now for a fun printable.  You can just make these without the printable, but if you are using them as party favors, these can be used for that!  You can get the printable here.  I cut them out using the coluzzle.
Here are all the different ones that I made.  The party pooper one is my favorite :).
Using baker’s twine I put the tags onto it.
And that’s it!  Aren’t they so much fun?!  I seriously love them and want to throw an emoji party now I can make more!

I also made some templates so you can print them out on white card stock and then you can cut them out.  You can get the poop one here and the yellow face one here.  You could use these for the pouches (like I did for the one in the picture) or you could use them are a template, cut on out and then trace it on brown or yellow paper.

Here are a few more that I made with vinyl and my Silhouette :).  I made up some designs so that you can also cut them out with vinyl.
