Fun Summer Treat- Ice Cream Cookie Sundae with Candy Flowers

Last week was the last week of school for my kids and to celebrate I thought that we needed something sweet, like ice cream.  Nothing screams summer to me more than ice cream and a fun sweet treat!  Instead of just doing plain ice cream, I thought it would be fun to make some ice cream cookie sundaes and top them with a bunch of different candies, including some fun candy flowers that I made.  

I headed to Walmart to get all the supplies. 

 I found the Skittles® and M&M’s® in the candy aisle.  I found the M&M’s® Cookie Ice-Cream sandwiches and SNICKERS® ice cream bars in the frozen section.

The flowers were super easy to make and they were so much fun to make!  I love how they turned out and better yet, I liked how they tasted :).  The first thing I did was took a square pretzel and some white candy melts.  I put the melts into a sandwich bag and then heated it up in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes (in 30 second increments).  I cut off the tip of a corner of the bag .   I worked on wax paper so they were easy to get off the plate.
