We are in full Halloween mode right now. That means that if my little girl wants to wear her Halloween shirt, she can. I thought that it would be fun to make her a couple of cute headbands for Halloween. I made them elastic because those seem to try on her head much better. Plus they are super easy to make!
This is what I used to make the headbands.
I took a piece of ribbon and measure it to the back of her ears (it was about 12 inches). I used white felt, glue gun and ric rac and bottle cap for the spider and some elastic.
I first glued the ribbon onto the felt. The felt helps to keep the headband from moving so much.
Then I made the cute little spider.
I glued the spider onto a ribbon.
I measure the elastic from the back of her ears and then cut it about a 1/2-1 inch shorter. Then I sewed the elastic onto the ribbon.
And that’s it. Isn’t it so cute?? I love it and so does she :).
I also made her a cute little button one too. I just glued some buttons onto the ribbon, super easy.
I really love how the button one looks!
