I’ve been a slacker….

November 6, 2012 by Kaysi 27 Comments

I don’t know if you’ve noticed lately, but I’ve been slacking with this blog.  My post are late and they aren’t as regular as usual.  Life has been crazy since our move in August.  And it’s not slowing down anytime soon.  November is going to be the craziest yet.  This Sunday is my daughter’s 2nd birthday.  We will be traveling to Utah that week because my husband has meetings and I’m tagging along.  Then the day we get back I have two days to prepare my house and get ready for my husband’s family coming for Thanksgiving.  There are going to be 11 kids and 8 adults, so it’s going to be fun and awesome!  And then to top it all off, I have another birthday at the end of the month.  So if you don’t hear from me this month, that’s why.
And here’s the other reason why I’ve been slacking and struggling to keep up…
baby feet (5)4
I knew that I wanted to announce it with a picture involving my kids.  But with my kids, I also knew that would be a tricky task.  So I loved the idea of the feet because all I had to do is make them stand still.  Here’s the original picture, my daughter is crying and I’m not sure why my son’s hand is over his face.

My youngest is going to turn 2 this month on the 26th and I am due with my 5th child on May 9th. Oh and I have 3 boys right now and one girl. We have a lot in common 🙂 I am going to be honest I and my daughter are hoping for another girl. But no matter what this child is a blessing.

Congrats! Hey relax, it's okay to slow down – My 5th pregnancy was exhausting because I had 4 other kids, so expect to cut down on things and don't worry about it.

Congrats!! What a cool picture and way to tell us that you are expecting a new little pair of feet. Take it as slow as you need to, your blog is lovely and it is about keeping things simple. We are here and love to read what you post even if not as frequent.

What a super cute picture idea too. I think family pictures would always be much easier if we could just do feet!

Congratulations!! "Every baby is a blessing." So true! What a cute way to make the announcement! It took me a second to figure it out and then I saw the extra set of shoes. I love the full un-cropped picture because it shows your kids being themselves, and your sweet son is holding his sisters hand-so precious.
