Today I am so excited to share with you my living room! I probably spend most of my time in this room, I just love to sit on my chair, look outside or just check my email on my phone. It’s the first room that you see when you come into my house. It’s where we have most of our “parties” and family time. It’s a very important room to me.
Since Halloween, this room has been decorated with holiday stuff. I had the things on the walls but nothing cute on the table or piano and the pillows were all seasonal. Well about 2 weeks ago, I had enough of holiday stuff and I decided that I wanted to actually decorate it in the color scheme that I had. I found some really cute candlesticks and metal balls and that got me thinking about redoing the room. And it just snowballed from there. Every single pillow is new, I painted a table, and the decorations are new. In about a week period I redid it all. I took Valentine’s Day décor day a week early even, so I could decorate it.
Okay enough talk, let’s get to the pictures.
This is the view from the front door. It’s the first thing you see when you come into my house.
This is the view from the dining room.
This is the view from the hallway.
And this is the view from the chair in the corner. That is all the angels of the room.
My piano, I love my piano. I didn’t want to have too much on it but I wanted to have some color on it. So I added a glittery green G, a bakers twine family frame and I polka dotted (and glittery) plate on it.
I can’t have things on the wall with using vinyl and my Cricut! I have the newborn pictures of my 4 babies, the framed map and then some family pictures on the wall.
I had fun decorating my green table. These were the candlesticks that started the whole thing. I painted them and then put some different balls on top. I just love my huge picture of the San Diego temple over it.
I had fun making these bright and fun pillows! I love the colors and designs of them. And to add some light to the room, I got this awesome floor lamp.
And that is my living room! I love how bright and cozy it is! I still love to look at it enjoy the space.

It's real pretty but this can't be your house or you don't let the kids in the living room? LOL Just kidding. I love the photo above the table. A testiment to your faith and your marriage.

Hi Kaysi, you did it great! I really loved how you you put everything together. It feels cozy and homey. Actually you just inspire me to do some arrangements in my own living. You see I'm in a rented apartment and almost everything in it belongs to the owners so I haven't done anything but now I feel like I need to do something to make it feel more like home instead of just an apartment, what do you think? On the other hand the comment from Dan Shaw made me think this question: How do you mange to keep it that way?, in 2 seconds my daughter transforms the living room into a demolitions zone Hahaha!
Great share!

I really don't keep this clean, I took pictures in the morning one day and by the end of the day it was a disaster. I think some personally touches would be great in your apartment, choose you favorite colors and add a pop of personality!
