Emoji Valentines with Printable

January 23, 2018 by Kaysi 3 Comments

We live in a texting world, and I’ll admit I would much rather text someone than call them, it’s just so much easier.  So I of course like to use emojis in my texts, it’s a great way to show how you are feeling!  Since everyone loves emoji characters, I decided that I needed to make up some emoji valentines for my kids to hand out to their classmates.  I had so much fun making these and I made up 6 different designs!

Here is a quick video to show you the process of making them and so you can see how easy they are to make!

This is how I made them.

I made up a printable for them, so all you have to do is print, cut and assemble, easy peasy!  You can get the free printable here.  Then I used some peppermint patties because they are a circle candy that my kids love.

Using a 1 3/8″ circle punch (a 1 1/2″ circle punch would work too), I punched out the faces for the emoji valentines.

I then glued them onto the candies, aren’t they fun?!

Then using a paper trimmer (scissors work too), I cut out the little phones with the texts on them.

And then I glued the candies onto the phones, just using a glue stick.

And that’s it!!  Super easy but so cute!!  These would be great for the kids to help make too!

Here is a close up of them, they are so much fun!  I love them!

I think I’m going to have my daughter hand these out to her class and then my teenager son hand them out to a couple of his friends :).

Check out my other homemade valentines!
