Matching Penguin Christmas Pajamas
Every year on Christmas Eve, we give our kids pajamas. It is one of my favorite traditions. Some years they are Christmas pajamas and some years they are just regular pajamas. It really just depends on the year. The past couple years, we have been making or buying matching Christmas pajamas. I love to have the whole family match and it seems like Christmas is the only day that I can get all of my kids to go along with my crazy ideas :). Penguins are a favorite in our family because my mom loves them, so whenever we see penguins we think of Grandma. I knew that if we had penguins on our matching pajamas, then my kids would definitely be excited about matching everyone else.
For these penguin pajamas, I cut everything out with my Silhouette CAMEO and used heat transfer vinyl. Here is a video tutorial of another pajama shirt that I made a couple years ago. The process is the same, just used a different design. You can see the full tutorial here.
For these I used my favorite brand of shirts, Bella and Canvas. They are so soft and fit really well. The heat transfer vinyl that I used was:
Buffalo Plaid in red
Stretch HTV in white
Easyweed HTV in green and orange
Here is a closer look of the penguin. You can get the design here. In the scarf, I added our names so we would know who’s shirt it was.
I found some red buffalo plaid pajama pants for everyone.
And that’s it for the penguin pajamas. They turned out so good!
Here is my cute family on Christmas Eve with our matching Christmas pajamas! They look great on too!
Check out the other Christmas pajamas I have made over the years.
