Supermom shirt

April 11, 2012 by Kaysi 4 Comments

I have this amazing friend.  She just recently moved about 9 months ago and is now planning to move again, across the country.  Her husband is going to be moving before she does because she wants to wait until school ends.  He is going to be gone for 2 months!!  To get through the long months, she has decided to have little reminders for herself, so she doesn’t take it out on her kids (I need to do this and I have my husband with me….).  She asked me to make her a shirt so she can be reminded to be a supermom when the days are long.
This is how I made it:
1) I took a normal black shirt I found.  I love Ross…..
2) Using my CAMEO, I cut out the heat transfer.  The supermom image I just got at the Silhouette online store.
3) I first ironed on the white heat transfer from Expressions Vinyl.
4) Then I ironed on the glitter heat transfer from Craftvinyl.com.
And now my friend has a shirt to remind her to be a supermom!

Sometimes it's hard to be a supermom, so the t-shirt is a wonderful reminder! Great idea!
