Tasty Thursday: BLT Salad

June 2, 2011 by Kaysi 3 Comments

This is a tasty salad that my friend made once for a Christmas dinner. She got the recipe from here. It is so yummy that I had to make it myself! Loved it!
BLT Salad

What you will need:
1 pound bacon
1 head of lettuce
2 cups of croutons
2 tomatoes
3/4 cup (I used 1/2 cup) of mayo
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
For the dressing:
1) Mix the mayo, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a blender. Set aside
For the salad:
1) Cook the bacon, drain with paper towel and then crush.
2) Combine lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, croutons and dressing.
1/8 tsp pepper

I make this too but I just use a good quality Ranch dressing. It's great!
