Tie Dye Pancakes {Best Pancake Recipe Ever}
Pancakes are a favorite at our house. We love having them at our house, especially during the holidays. We love having colorful pancakes and making them in fun shapes. One day I wanted to make fun, colorful pancakes and I decided that it would be fun to make tie dye pancakes, using the paint pouring method, just with the pancake batter. The first time I made these tie dye pancakes they were a huge hit for our family. The kids loved them and loved making them. They are so colorful, fluffy and delicious, seriously the best pancake recipe ever.
Here is a quick video to show the process of how I made these amazing tie dye pancakes.
This is how I made them:
I blended the pancake batter in a blender and then separated the pancake batter into different cups and then using food coloring, I made lots of different colors. I doubled the recipe to make these pancakes, usually when I feed my family of 7, I either double the recipe or do 1 1/2 times the pancake recipe.
To make the tie dye pancakes, I started with a clean cup and then pour some pancake batter into the cup. Then I poured in another color and then another color until the cup was filled enough to make a decent sized pancake. Then I poured the batter onto the griddle.
Sometimes I just poured the batter onto the griddle straight and sometimes I moved the cup to make different designs. This one I did a circle motion while pouring. Once the pancake got bubbly all over, I then flipped it. As you can see, the other side isn’t as much.
Here is what the tie dye pancakes looked like all cooked, super fun and colorful!
Here is another one, I love the colors!
