Glow in the Dark Boo Blocks

October 17, 2013 by Kaysi 4 Comments

Glow in the Dark Boo Blocks
I love to transform 2x4s with vinyl and make easy and expensive decorations.  Here is one a I did with the decorative vinyl and glow in the dark vinyl (yes it actually glows!).

This is how I made it:
I took a 2×4 and cut into two pieces, 5″ and 4″.

I painted it black and while the paint was wet, I blew some glitter onto it.

Using my Silhouette, I cut out the vinyl.  The glow in the dark vinyl is a little thicker, so I did a double cut on it.

Next I cut the polka dot vinyl into strips that were 1 3/8″ wide and put it onto the sides of the wood.

It just gives it a nice finished touch.

I added some bakers twine.  And that’s it!!  Super easy.

And here it is in the dark, the eyes glowing.
