Baby Yoda Valentines with Free Printable
I don’t love Valentine’s Day, but I do love making valentines for my kids to hand out a school. It’s one of my favorite things to do this time of year and I love coming up with different sayings and designs for it. This year I had to make Baby Yoda valentines because he is so cute and he is so popular right now. I made up three different Baby Yoda valentines- one made with a Baby Yoda candy bar, one that is just a Baby Yoda printable and one that has a Baby Yoda vinyl sticker. All of them have a printable to go with it, so they are super easy to make!
Here is a quick video to show you the process of how it make these adorable Baby Yoda Valentines.
This is how I made the Baby Yoda valentine with the Baby Yoda candy bar.
The printable is sized for a fun sized candy bar, you can use whatever kind you want. I usually stick with the Hershey’s because it doesn’t have gluten in it and it’s better for allergies but really of the fun sized candy bars should work. The first thing I did was print out the printable. I printed the Baby Yoda printable on regular printer paper and then I printed the “Yoda Best!” card on white cardstock. You can get the printable here.
I cut the Baby Yoda out with my paper trimmer. I cut it out to be 3 inches high and then 4 1/4 inches wide (I eventually cut it to be shorter, so it would wrap around the candy bar and not over lap). Because I really wanted his ears to stand out, I cut around the so they would wider than the candy bar. If you don’t cut around the ears, then they will fold down around the candy bar and not be nearly as cute. I just used tape to put the paper onto the candy bar.
Next I cut the card out with my paper trimmer.
And then I used a glue stick to glue the Baby Yoda candy bar to the card.
And that’s it for this Baby Yoda valentine.
I LOVE how these turned out, they are so cute and I know my kids are going to love handing them out.
I also made one with another saying.
For the second Baby Yoda valentine, I just made up a Baby Yoda printable, so really all you have to do is print it out and then cut it out. This one is the easiest of the 3 Baby Yoda valentines.
I printed it out on white cardstock and then cut it out with my paper trimmer. You can get the printable here.
And that’s it for the 2nd Baby Yoda valentine. Gotta love printable valentines, they are the easiest!
For the 3rd Baby Yoda valentine, I made up a Baby Yoda vinyl sticker. I actually did a whole post about how I make these stickers, so you can get all the details about how I made it in that post. Just go here to read it.
Using my Silhouette CAMEO, I cut out the baby Yoda design. I used the colors black matte and white matte in the Oracal 651 and the colors olive, light brown and beige in the Oracal 631. I weeded the vinyl and then put the sticker together using transfer tape.
You can get the cut file here.
I then printed out the little tags printable on white cardstock. You can get the printable here.
Using my paper trimmer, I cut out the little tags. Then to put them onto the Baby Yoda vinyl stickers, I used a staple. Super easy and quick :).
And that’s it!! I love how they turned out!
These are super fun to give out because they aren’t candy, so you don’t have to worry about allergies plus who wouldn’t want a Baby Yoda sticker?!
Here are all of the 3 different Baby Yoda valentines. Since I didn’t put Happy Valentine’s Day on the printable, you could actually use these for any time of the year. You could use them as a present or a little thank you :).
